Business Description:

Canyon Meadows Auto Service is a family business jointly owned by father-son team Clarence Stronge and Chad Stronge. Clarence Stronge was born in Regina and has always been a car guy. At age 15, he helped fix cars at several gas stations. At 16, he repaired his father's manual transmission in the backyard.
Clarence moved to Alberta when he was 21 and started his automotive apprenticeship. He received his license in 1974 and opened his own shop in 1977 at an old, small gas station in Mount Royal with repair bays.
Clarence's son, Chad, was born in Calgary and also loved cars from a young age. As soon as he was able to talk he began recognizing different cars by their makes and models. He began his apprenticeship with his dad in 1995 and worked at dealerships for a few years before venturing with his dad to run a shop together.
In 2005, Clarence and Chad moved his dad's shop to Canyon Meadows, where it became known as Canyon Meadows Auto Service. Here, they continue to offer the community excellent service and repairs.

Canyon Meadows Auto Service was recommended to me by a co-worker who had nothing but good things to say about them. I booked a couple of different high end maintenance jobs with them and they completed the jobs both properly and professionally and in the time they said it would take. And at a competitive price. I was given Canyon Meadow Auto Services's name by another mechanic whom I trust and I was not disappointed. I was looking to get a pre-purchase inspection done on a car and Noel was able to fit me in. The inspection was done in a timely fashion and Noel was able to answer all of my questions. I left feeling confident that the car I was hoping to buy was mechanically sound, thanks to Noel and the mechanics who helped me. I love my new car......Lori

I would certainly recommend this service station. Chad fit me in at the last minute which was great and fixed my issues. He made more recommendations that should be taken care of but could still wait for a bit. A couple days latter he.followed up with a letter thanking me for using their services as well as a discount on my next visit there. Would definitely recommend them!

Chad and Team always perform comprehensive diagnostics and communicate with vehicle owner prior to making any repairs. All repairs are prior approved so there are no surprises when it comes to the bill. Quotes and advice are provided for any future repair work needed and they never sell services not required. Noel went out of his way to ensure I was happy with my experience. As a new customer recommended by my sister, this wasn't a great start: another customer opened her door into my car, scratching it, and drove away against my protests. Noel offered to wet sand the damaged area & if I wasn't satisfied, to put me in touch with his other customer to get the situation sorted out. He called the other customer to outline his plan. The sanding worked so all is well. Noel navigated a tense situation masterfully. As for the oil change, the price was less expensive than the drive-thru shops. They checked my brakes & tires and included a list of fluids that need checking at the required km value. I had a complimentary cup of tea & a pleasant wait. They even washed my car & cleaned my wheels. Overall a great experience!

I've been coming here for a couple years now they service a few of my work trucks and personal vehicle. Great service and the guys always talk to you before starting any work so you don't get any surprise charges. Fast and reliable work. Would definitely recommend Chad and his guys.

Had regular scheduled oil change. They have kept me up to date on any thing that may be needed. This time let me know the Ball Joints should be replaced. This was done in a very timely manner. I am very pleased knowing everything is regularly checked for me as Mechanical work is not my field of expertise. Thanks for being there for me!

I Love taking my 2006 Nissan Titan LE V8 to Chad and Noel at Canyon Meadows! I feel very comfortable that I am NOT being taken advantage because I am a woman. I have had excellent, honest and perfect customer service and repairs to my vehicle every time. My vehicle is older but low KM's and in excellent condition and they have repaired every problem I have had with it including all maintenance required. They always communicate clearly, patiently & honestly with me. This is HUGE for me!! I am never left feeling baffled as I have been at other repair shops. The prices are Reasonable and the turn around time is very timely. They keep very good records on past servicing and I am so Appreciative of their Excellent Work every time!! Thanks so much Guys! I would Highly Recommend anyone in need of repairs, service and maintenance to bring your vehicle to the Great Bunch at Canyon Meadows Auto Service!!

I only had the watts link replaced on my pt cruiser, and I had brought it in here after looking at the reviews as I didn't have the proper tools to do it myself. So I don't have much to base the service on yet. But I will be going back to complete other repairs shortly, so will have more to say then.
