Business Description:
Canyon Meadows Auto Service is a family business jointly owned by father-son team Clarence Stronge and Chad Stronge. Clarence Stronge was born in Regina and has always been a car guy. At age 15, he helped fix cars at several gas stations. At 16, he repaired his father's manual transmission in the backyard.
Clarence moved to Alberta when he was 21 and started his automotive apprenticeship. He received his license in 1974 and opened his own shop in 1977 at an old, small gas station in Mount Royal with repair bays.
Clarence's son, Chad, was born in Calgary and also loved cars from a young age. As soon as he was able to talk he began recognizing different cars by their makes and models. He began his apprenticeship with his dad in 1995 and worked at dealerships for a few years before venturing with his dad to run a shop together.
In 2005, Clarence and Chad moved his dad's shop to Canyon Meadows, where it became known as Canyon Meadows Auto Service. Here, they continue to offer the community excellent service and repairs.
