As always, Greg and his team of auto mechanics provided white glove service. Had a flat tire. Tire was as flat tire and Triple A towed the car to Autoworks.\r\n\r\nThe tire was repaired in no time and a few other minor repairs (along with an oil change) was requested. I first chose Autoworks of Devon because it was a small independent shop and it was just a couple miles from home - the latter aspect makes it easy to run or bicycle to or from the place when I need to drop off or pick up my car. Greg & crew seem very knowledgeable and are straight-talkers - I don't feel like I'm being sold anything. Then again, I usually have a pretty good idea of what is going on before I submit the car to them, but I do believe they would be straight and honest with even someone with no clue about the inner function of automobiles. Of course, I always wish their service were a little less expensive, but I guess I'm getting used to the high costs of everything in Connecticut. | |

I am an old customer of Autoworks and I always come back to them to service my car.
Greg always takes time to answer all my questions and explains everything what's going on with the car and he always lets me know what repairs are needed for the car.
It's very important to have a mechanic that you can trust, one that offers you reasonable prices and what I like mostly about Autoworks is that they offer you a loaner while your car is in their shop. You don't find that very often. I have a very hectic schedule, a car is a must for me and I really appreciate this little favour.
They do their best to accomodate your needs.

For 12 years, Greg and his mechanics have kept our cars running safely and reliably in spite of their advanced age. At our last service appointment, they fixed a high idle condition that could have been a safety issue. During the road test, Greg found that the most likely solution hadn't completely resolved the problem. Greg then found and fixed an additional problem with the throttle cable linkage. Result: problem completely solved and safety issue eliminated. As usual, all service was done as stated with no surprises and on time. Only small negative I have is why did the person who drove me home and then drove my car back to your garage think it was necessary to reprogram my radio stations. I don't mind that he changed the stations, but why reprogram the radio? He was only driving the car for 10 minutes? Small negative. Everything else was fine. Not happy. I have given Autoworks thousands of dollars in business over the last several years. I recently asked them to take a look at an old van I had to see if it was worth fixing They recommended not not spending any more money on it. i agreed with them I bought a new car and the dealer gave me some trade in money for it The dealer went to tow it away and Autoworks held it hostage because they wanted to charge me $100 dollars for an inspection charge. My appt was between 8:30am to 9am so I came in few minutes after 9am.. I own a 2007 Toyota Rav4, and have been to AutoWorks for my last 4 oil changes, front and rear break jobs, and for a new set of tires. The office staff is always very courteous and explain exactly what will be done with my vehicle. They are very thorough with their inspections, and I have always trusted their judgement. When new issues arise, they actually show me what they have found and take the time to explain the various options to fix the problem. They even respected my decision to hold off on fixing one issues until a later date for my convenience and financial situation. Because of their recommendations, I addressed my worn down brakes and my tires that barely had any tread.
